Chesapeake Regional Medical Group

Chesapeake Regional Medical Group is comprised of primary care physicians and specialists who work solely for the patients at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. This medical group was developed to attract hard-to-find specialists to the Chesapeake area and to assist physicians with the administrative duties of running a medical practice. Currently, the medical group consists of physicians in bariatric surgery, breast surgery, digestive health, family medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, obstetrics, gynecology and primary care. The physicians are located in several different locations.

Bariatric Surgeons

General surgeons specialize in general surgery, which is that branch of medicine dealing with manual and operative procedures for correction of deformities and defects, repair of injuries, diagnosis and cure of diseases, and relief of suffering.

Weight loss surgeons specialize in surgery on the stomach and/or intestines to help those with extreme obesity lose weight.

Colorectal Surgeons

Colon and rectal surgeons are experts in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of colon and rectal problems. They have completed advanced training in the treatment of colon and rectal problems in addition to full training in general surgery. Colon and rectal surgeons treat benign and malignant conditions, perform routine screening examinations and surgically treat problems when necessary.

She specializes in the treatment of all disorders of the colon and rectum, including colon cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases and anorectal disorders.
