Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Shah graduated from Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (formerly Pravara Rural Medical College) in India, where he earned degrees in medicine and surgery. He completed his Family Medicine Residency Program at Wayne State University in Rochester, MI. Dr. Shah has been an active member of the medical staff at Chesapeake Regional for nearly two decades and serves as a community faculty member at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he mentors medical students. He has also served as medical director for several nursing homes and hospice centers in Hampton Roads and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
