Dr. Amico is a board-certified internist with over three decades of dedicated practice. He has expertise in both Internal Medicine and Substance Use Disorder. As a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, he has combined extensive clinical experience with a passion for advancing medical knowledge. Dr. Amico graduated with a medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, in De Moines, Iowa. He was the Chief Medical Resident during his residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital, in Mineola, New York. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Amico is a respected educator and mentor. He has held esteemed positions at several colleges and universities throughout his career.
