Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Patel earned her bachelor’s degrees in medicine and surgery in Gujarat, India. She performed medical observerships at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL and Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital in Utica, NY. Dr. Patel completed her family medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, NY and practiced family medicine in Buffalo before moving to Virginia. She is committed to helping patients reduce risks associated with obesity, performs procedures relating to skin lesions, women’s health and complications related to multiple medical conditions.
