Succinctly, I made the decision to find a primary care physician after having a hospital stay at Chesapeake Regional Hospital that made me realize I should take a much more responsible approach to my overall heath. After the visit with Dr. Akragorn, I had direct/valid questions/concerns based on his after care summary. I asked these questions directly of Dr. Akragorn through the Athena messaging system the day after the visit and the same day of his care summary being published in the medical portal. I received a phone call by a representative of Dr. Akragorn stating that my "complaints" were too overwhelming to be addressed and that if I wasn't happy with Dr. Akragorn's care, I should find another primary care practice. At the conclusion of that obviously disingenuous conversation, I informed her that she has now made me feel so uncomfortable, I didn't want to be seen by Dr. Akragorn's practice again.

This was a follow up visit for treatment for diabetes and hypertension. I was checked thoroughly and asked if at any time I felt that the treatment was not working. I have been following the doctor's advice and it has been a great help. Any questions that I may have had were answered and anything that I needed help with was taken care of fully

I feel like he doesn't fulfill the role of a doctor. Or he just doesn't know how to be a doctor! Never give me any helpful tips .about anything!! Very bad experience, most of the time when I see him. I Could give you a lot of examples , but not enough space!

There's no bad experience with Dr. Akragorn. He is a professional. He is respectful, thorough and competent. He always goes through any medical problems and addresses them. He always follows through with any needed prescriptions and results from any testing. With previous physicians, I've always had to call the office for test results. Dr. Akragorn's office always follows up with me. Dr. Akragorn is the best doctor I've ever had.

A person did not follow up on my lab results but they were normal and available in the portal which I prefer. My physician provided education about the circumstances under which I would be called which was if there was anything abnormal. I prefer to use the portal to view all normal test results.

It took about 5 months to get a new patient appointment at the clinic but this seems to be on par with other clinics in the area. I was very happy with the physician. I work in healthcare and felt that my physician was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and empathetic. I highly recommend him and the clinic. I feel fortunate that I was able to find such a wonderful physician and clinic and am very thankful for the wonderful care I was provided.

If only other medical facilities were like Dr. Akragorn's, what a wonderful healthcare world we would live in! Patients are treated with respect as soon as they enter through the door. Your time is important, too, and you are seen in a timely manner. Dr. Akragorn has a great team, from his office staff, to his nurse, to the lab; all are professional, attentive and knowledgeable! I don't think you could find a better nurse anywhere!

I am so happy I found this doctors office. I really like the personal relationship. The doctor develops almost immediately with a new patient. He is always available to answer questions by phone. He is easy to reach and he returns calls in a very prompt manner.

Sometimes the appointments I didn't have to wait that long but most of the times I had to wait very long for my doctor to see me but I completely understand but waiting for more than 30 minutes that's kinda long But overall my doctor is great
