MyChart

How do I access my online portal? How do I access MyChart? How do I activate my account? How do I sign in? How do I reset my password/login?

  • New Users to Epic MyChart Can Sign Up at https://mychart.chesapeakeregional.com/.
  • You will be provided with a MyChart Patient Portal activation code on the back of your After Visit Summary at the time of discharge. Follow these steps to sign up for MyChart Patient Portal on your computer:
    1. Visit Mychart.chesapeakeregional.com
    2. Click Sign Up Now. You will see a member sign up page.
    3. Enter the MyChart activation code provided to you at discharge.
    4. Fill out the fields on the MyChart sign-up page.

Can patients see their providers’ notes in MyChart patient portal?  

  • Progress notes are shared automatically with patients. Your clinician has the option of manually sharing other types of notes.

Are there any diagnoses that are not shared in my MyChart patient portal account?  

  • All diagnoses are shared with the patient, unless they are manually unshared by your clinician.

Can I see all of my results, such as labs and X-rays, in MyChart patient portal?  

  • All testing results are released to MyChart.

When are results released to MyChart patient portal?  

  • Normal labs are released immediately after they are available. Sensitive results, pathology, genetics, cytology, and advanced medical imaging results are released within 3 days. Other medical imaging results are released within 2 days.

Are there any medications that are hidden in the MyChart patient portal account?  

  • All medications on a patient’s medication list are visible in MyChart.

What can a parent or guardian see or do when they have proxy access to a child’s chart in MyChart patient portal?  

  • Proxies have full access to the child's chart until the child turns 13 years old. When the child turns 13, proxies can review insurance coverages, make payments, update demographics, electronically sign documents, and update end-of-life planning information.

Can patients access MyChart patient portal in any language besides English?  

  • MyChart is also available in Arabic (only in the MyChart mobile app), Danish, Dutch, English (UK), Finnish, French, German, German (Switzerland), Spanish, and Swedish. Please note that while most text within MyChart is translated, clinical content and messaging remain in English.

How do I message my CRMG or Transitional Care Clinic Provider?

  • Signing up for the Athena Patient Portal is easy. Go to our Patient Portal or use the direct link provided by our practice. If you already have an account, you can use the Athena patient portal mobile app. Search the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for “athenaPatient”. Download it to your smartphone and use your Patient Portal email address and password to log in to athenaPatient.

What if I have a bill from Chesapeake Regional Medical Group or the Transitional Care Clinic?  

  • You can access your bill summary and make payments by simply logging into your Athena patient portal account. As soon as you log in with your username and password, navigate to the “Billing & Payments” tab to view your bill and make a payment.
