Appointments are available in several locations on our campus, including Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, The Diagnostic Center of Chesapeake, the Sleep Center at Chesapeake Regional, as well as Diabetes & Nutrition Services at The Lifestyle Health & Fitness Center. Our friendly staff members can help direct you to the location that is most convenient for you, and best suited to your testing needs. Your referring physician’s office can also help you to schedule a test at any of our convenient locations.

Do you have online scheduling? To schedule a test, call the Scheduling Department at 757-312-6137.
You can schedule your routine mammogram online . A MyChart account is not needed for this service.
How do I cancel or reschedule a testing appointment? To cancel a previously scheduled diagnostic test, or to find out about our cancellation policy, call 757-312-6137.
Do you offer walk-in testing? Appointments are available for most diagnostic services. X-rays are available for walk-in patients, with a provider’s order, at the Diagnostic Center of Chesapeake, on the first floor of Chesapeake Regional's W. Stanley Jennings Outpatient Center. Walk-in laboratory services with and without a physician’s order are also available at the Diagnostic Center of Chesapeake.More information is available here.
How will I receive my results? Your diagnostic testing results will be posted in the MyChart patient portal. Your provider’s office may also call you with results. Please contact your provider’s office with questions about testing and results.

How long will it take to receive my results? Chesapeake Regional’s Imaging and diagnostic Services is staffed by a dedicated team of physicians, nurses and technologists. Each team member has the latest training to provide you with sophisticated, quality care. We work closely with your doctor to provide timely, accurate and detailed results. What should I bring to my appointment? When you come to your diagnostic testing appointment at one of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare's convenient testing locations, be sure to bring your ID and insurance card, as well as the order from your provider and any Worker’s Compensation paperwork or information. Some tests have specific preparation requirements, be sure to adhere to these so your test will be accurate
