The provider (Dr Lin) was excellent in all areas. The shortfall I experienced was in the admin and support staff appearing confused about my referral and the sharing of all information needed for the appointment.

Wait time was over an hour. I had a 9am appointment and they asked me to be there at 8:30. I wasn't seen until 10am. That's not acceptable. The receptionists were all incredibly friendly and helpful as was my doctor and the scheduler. The staff was fantastic actually but the wait time was a bit much.

The front desk receptionist was outstanding. She went over every form I needed to fill out. I have never had someone explain the forms like she did.Dr. Lins scheduler was very nice and explained all my future appointments.Dr. Lin was very nice and explained my upcoming procedure and how my recovery should go. I would highly recommend Dr. Lin and the staff I encountered during my appointment.

Dr. Lin was FANTASTIC!! He was so thoughtful and thorough. I truly appreciated the way he took his time in answering my questions; I did not feel rushed. I loved the way he was so knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns. If I end up having surgery, I feel great about him doing it. I know I will be in good hands. Dr. Lin's nurse, Vanessa, has been very nice, which I greatly appreciate, but I must admit my communications with her since my appointment have not been easy. Dr. Lin told me before the end of my appointment that if I have an "episode" with my abdomen to notify Vanessa via the portal, AND to call her as well. It's hard to explain, but based on her responses over some basic questions relating to information being provided to my primary care physician, I'm concerned she either didn't understand everything I asked, or if she did, she wasn't able to accurately communicate a thorough response to my questions. Admittedly, this concerns me if I end up needing surgery because I realize how much a provider typically relies on his or her nurse and I realize the importance of the patient's relationship with the nurse. Please know I debated a lot whether or not to tell you about my concerns with Vanessa. I do not want to jeopardize her work reputation in any way, nor do I want my future care with Dr. Lin and Vanessa to be impacted by my comments, but I believe in the long run, it's the right thing to do. I hope all I have said makes sense.
