Dr. Shur-Allen is the best doctor I had and still have. I started seeing her more than 10 years ago and still have her which is a testimony for her excellent service to her patients. She has a very rare quality to listen to my problems and always finds a solutions to my concerns. I am extremely lucky to be her patient and very happy with her care! The best family care physician ever had. She is also the PCP for my whole family and everyone is similarly happy with her.

The Mount Pleasant Office staff are wonderful. I got into a room right away for the nurse to get vitals and provide a copy of my blood test results. The printed copy was helpful because I could not see all the results online.

I have been going to this office for numerous years and every Doctor I have seen has been the best experience of my life. All the nurses are kind and concerned about your health. Dr. Lyubov Shur-Allen always listens attentively to my concerns. This appointment was no different. I could tell she'd already looked at my medical history before my arrival by her comments and questions. I've been In extreme pain due to sciatica and went to her for pain medication as directed by the orthopedic dr I'm seeing. The ortho practice does not Issue prescription pain meds and pain was at the level that It reduced my quality of life. Dr Shur-Allen went over all the pros and cons of prescription pain medicine and was very conservative with what I was prescribed. It has given me the relief I need while undergoing therapy. We also reevaluated my blood pressure medicine. I trust her reccomendations for my overall health. She is compassionate and professional.

Lyubov B. Shur-Allen, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with nearly 20 years of practice experience in Virginia. She earned her medical degree from Yaroslavl State Medical School in Russia, where she also completed her Internal Medicine internship. Dr. Shur-Allen completed her Family Practice residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She has been with the Mt. Pleasant practice for over 10 years.
