Chesapeake Regional Medical Group Welcomes Neurologist Ahmad Anouti, M.D.

CHESAPEAKE – Ahmad Anouti, M.D. has recently joined Neurological Associates of Hampton Roads, a practice of Chesapeake Regional Medical Group. The practice also includes Dr. Salim Qazizadeh and Dr. Gilbert Snider and is located at 300 Medical Parkway, Suite 212, in Chesapeake.

A board-certified neurologist, Anouti earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed internships at the Good Samaritan Hospital of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md., Anouti completed his residency in neurology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa and a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. He is able to perform botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasms and migraines. He also conducts EMG and nerve conduction studies as well as sleep studies, nerve blocks and stimulation.

Anouti has worked in private practices as well as hospitals in Kansas, Michigan, Sauidi Arabia and Ohio. Most recently, he served as an independent contractor at Joint Air Force Base Langley Eustis Hospital. Anouti is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and holds medical licenses in Ohio, Michigan and Virginia.
