CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Community supporters and stakeholders gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of Chesapeake Regional’s new Emergency Department Behavioral Health Unit, ahead of its opening in May.The Emergency Department Behavioral Health Unit, previously referred to as the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), is part of Chesapeake Regional’s growing Behavioral Health program and the product of a $3.7 million grant from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Hundreds of Hampton Roads parents have free diapers to enjoy this month thanks to the combined efforts of Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation and Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. The Diaper Distribution held today on the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center campus was a huge success.

CHESAPEAKE – Kelsey Williams, M.D., will join The Breast Center at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare as a full-time breast surgeon beginning Monday, Sept. 10, 2018. Williams will practice with Chesapeake Surgical Specialists, part of Chesapeake Regional Medical Group.

In partnership with referring providers and multiple medical disciplines, patients in northeast North Carolina receive a comprehensive plan for managing underlying medical conditions based on each patient’s needs.  
CHESAPEAKE - Beginning Nov. 12, 2018, women in labor at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center’s BirthPlace will be among the first in our area with access to Nitrous Oxide as a form of pain management during childbirth. Women using it can control their own pain relief by choosing when to put the mask on and when to take it off, increasing their sense of control and well-being.
