Dr Butler had little concern for issues that were not indicated in my blood work. She is not proactive and has been remiss in making referrals to needed specialists. She was not aware of my med history where I have always indicated my allergy to antibiotics and offered to prescribe them before a test result came in to see if they were necessary. I am in the process of searching for another provider. I need a provider who will work with me. Very disappointed.

Dr. Lynn Butler is a board-certified primary care provider practicing at Internal Medicine of Elizabeth City, part of Chesapeake Regional Medical Group. She earned her osteopathic medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Butler completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. She has previously served as the chief hospitalist at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC, and has worked as a hospitalist at Vidant Medical Group and a primary care provider at Tarheel Internal Medicine. Dr. Butler is ACLS certified and a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
