Vicky West, RN, BSN
Our commitment to patient-centered thoracic care begins with Vicky West, RN, BSN, who works with both physicians and patients to provide seamless case management and personalized patient support. Patients benefit from a dedicated nurse navigator who is available to answer questions about treatment and counseling. She offers support and guidance during your journey to ensure that you receive the highest quality, supportive care.
Lynne A. Skaryak, MD
Dr. Lynne Skaryak is a board-certified and robotic-trained thoracic surgeon and earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C. She completed both her general surgery and cardiothoracic residencies at Duke University Medical Center. Prior to joining CRMG, she served as the head of minimally invasive thoracic surgery at MedStar Good Samaritan and MedStar Union Memorial Hospitals in Baltimore, Md. While in Baltimore, she also served as the head of thoracic surgery at MedStar Harbor Hospital. Dr. Skaryak is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. She has been involved in many multidisciplinary thoracic oncology clinics and tumor boards for the most up-to-date care of patients. Her areas of expertise include cancers of the lung, esophagus and chest wall. She is also experienced in minimally invasive pulmonary and esophageal surgery, endoscopic laser therapy and stent insertion, percutaneous tracheostomy, stereotactic radiosurgery and chest wall resections.
Melhem Imad, MD
Dr. Melhem Imad is the only AABIP board-certified Interventional Pulmonologist in the Hampton Roads and northeastern North Carolina areas. He earned his Interventional Pulmonology subspecialty degree at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. He is also board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine and has been practicing in the area since 2007. With more than ten years of experience, Dr. Imad has previously served at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx., Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, N.Y. and is currently practicing at Pulmonary Medicine of Virginia Beach in Virginia Beach, Va. Dr. Imad is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
