The newly completed center brings advanced treatment options and exceptional care teams to support patients in southeast Virginia and northeast North Carolina.
Virginia Beach, Va. — Chesapeake Regional Surgery Center at Virginia Beach, LLC, is the first freestanding ambulatory surgical center (ASC) in Virginia to perform a minimally invasive, outpatient radical prostatectomy, using the da Vinci Si robotic surgical system.  Located at 229 Clearfield Avenue in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the Chesapeake Regional Surgery Center at Virginia Beach is a freestanding ASC, providing patients access to high quality, low cost outpatient surgical care without requiring a hospital stay.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – The first baby delivered in 2022 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center’s BirthPlace is a boy named Macoy John Plageman. The newborn arrived at 1:53 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2022. Macoy weighed in at six pounds, twelve ounces. He is the first baby born to new parents, Katie and John Plageman, of Suffolk, Va.    ###
