Gilbert R. "Brad" Abare, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Chesapeake Regional Weight Management – Bariatric Surgery. A Hampton Roads native, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University, in Virginia Beach, Va. Before pursuing his career as a nurse practitioner, he gained valuable experience as a registered nurse in critical care and cardiac care units. Brad provides outstanding care to his patients and enjoys hobbies related to cars and the automotive industry.
