Currituck family medicine was available for a walk in sick appointment for an employee of the hospital. I appreciate seeing them since I live there. Vonda, Donna ( front desk) another co worker, Vondas nurse all were so nice and caring.

Vonda is always attentive, answers any/all questions patiently, and makes sure all my current needs/concerns have been addressed. She thoroughly reviews my medication list at every visit, and I always feel comfortable that I can call with any concerns for both medications and or health if any concerns come up before my next appointment and get immediate assistance.

Vonda Raines is an excelkent Provider. I love having the same Provider for my visit (s). Mrs. Raines us akways the same, joyful, friendly, caring, polite, great listener and definitely knowledgeable. I choose to drive out of my town to gobto the iffice in Moyo k. Front desk staff are always friendly, corteuos and helpful. Receptionists are teuly caring. I observed 2 different receptionist on 2 separate dates take papers in front lobby to assist patients with limited mobility or special needs. They assisted promptly and with a smile. Nurse Lori is great , caring, knowledgeable and always and kind. I definitely am pleased with the cleanliness and order of the office at every visit.

I was a walk-in at the clinic that day for extreme pain in my right knee. I was asked on a scale of 1-10 what was the pain, I responded about 7.(10 being the worst} She recommended a x-ray and referral to orthopedic, I asked for pain meds to ease the pain, she stated she doesn't prescribe opioids. I asked a second time, she refused to prescribe pain medication. ( I don't prescribe opioids, I take Ibuprofen and Tylenol for pain. Well I'm not her) I was already taking Tylenol. Tomorrow is my appointment with orthopedic, two weeks on Tylenol with no reduction in pain. It was not her greatest day.
