Marketing Strategy & Concept Development

As part of the marketing process, you are encouraged to meet with our team of experts to map out a marketing strategy for your project. This is the first step toward successful advertising.

Copywriting & Copy Editing

We love storytelling, it's what we do best . Because of this, the words used to communicate a story are frequently just as important as the visuals. When submitting a Marketing Job Request, please submit copy points (words and message to include to tell the story, hold interest and persuade) to help us clearly communicate your key messages.

Graphic Design

Our graphic designer can make your vision come to life. Once copy is approved, we move into the design and layout phase of your project. Based on the information you submit, the marketing strategy and the budget that is defined, we design the piece to meet these objectives. Since most of our materials travel together, we strive to keep everything consistent with the overall Chesapeake Regional brand.

Once the layout is approved internally, it is forwarded to you for your approval. No more than three rounds of changes are allowed on any project. Please make sure to review the copy closely. Once final approvals are received, the project will move to production.

Internal Communications

Our employees are one of our most important audiences. They are engaged and support many Chesapeake Regional initiatives. We can communicate to employees in several different ways:

  • Month in the 'Peake
  • Intranet (mycrmc/)
  • Elevator Posters
  • Table Tents
  • Up Banners
  • Flyers
  • What's Up Doc
  • Screensavers
  • All user emails

Meet with your Marketing liaison to determine which channel is best to communicate your needs.

Media Buying

We have contracts for billboards and advertising in various publications and use an experienced media buyer to place advertising effectively. Based on the objectives and goals of your request, we will evaluate which channels will be the best to reach the target audience. If you believe there is an opportunity to secure advertising that would fit your program's needs, let your Marketing liaison know

Media Relations

Do you have a great story? Media is a fast-paced business that wants to publish the most engaging content. Often, reporters are more inclined to cover something if there is a patient story involved. Let us know about your story idea, and we'll work with you to determine the best outlet. Keep in mind, we are required to ask the correct permissions and have patients involved sign a media release.

If your story isn't best suited for a press release, it may work as a blog article.

Search Engine Optimization & Marketing

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a marketing discipline focused on growing visibility in organic (non-paid) search engine results. SEO encompasses both the technical and creative elements required to improve rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness in search engines. There are many aspects to SEO, from the words on the page to the way other sites link to you on the web.

A fundamental part of SEO is building out web content tailored to short and long tail keywords. We have a blog that facilitates this strategy. Please talk with your Marketing liaison if you'd like to be featured on the Health Matters blog

Search Engine Marketing (SEM), also known as Pay-Per-Click, is the process of buying ad space on search engines, web apps and native apps to drive leads to a site. If you'd like to purchase ad space on search results pages, or in apps, contact your Marketing liaison.
