Survivors Celebrating an Evening with Heart Tomorrow Night

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Chesapeake Regional Healthcare will host a crowd of over 125 guests to celebrate An Evening with Heart on Thursday, February 26, from 7-9 p.m. at The Lifestyle Health & Fitness Center on the campus of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, 800 Battlefield Blvd., North, Chesapeake.

Those attending will learn how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle and better understand the signs of a heart attack while survivors share their stories. Joe Piscatella, bestselling author and Founder & CEO of the Institute for Fitness and Health will be the featured speaker. He is a long-living survivor of cardiac bypass surgery.

An Evening with Heart will also celebrate Heart Month with Dillard's at Greenbrier Mall providing clothing for a fashion show featuring "Heart Hero" survivors—people who have survived cardiac events and are patients of Chesapeake Regional’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program. They have made significant lifestyle changes as a result of surviving their own cardiac event and will also share their stories.
