Bio
Dr. Ordonez is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, in Baltimore, and completed his general surgery internship and neurotrauma fellowship at the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Fla. His neurosurgery residency was completed at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami. Dr. Ordonez also completed a fellowship in Reconstructive and Complex Spine Surgery and Spinal Cord Injury medicine at the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque, N.M. He is a graduate of the Neurosurgical Training Program at the University of Vermont, in Burlington, Vt. where he was selected as chief resident. Dr. Ordonez is the author of numerous chapters and scientific articles. His career interests include Complex Spinal Surgery, General Neurosurgery and Neurovascular Surgery.
