HOPE Program

Healing Opportunities Providing Empowerment (HOPE)

Does Your Partner H.I.T. You?

  • Hurt you physically?
  • Insult or talk down to you?
  • Threaten you with harm?

Project HOPE

You are not alone.

HOPE is a multi-disciplinary initiative dedicated to enhancing prevention and intervention services for individuals and their families who experience interpersonal violence such as:

  • Domestic assault
  • Intimate partner violence
  • Sexual assault
  • Human trafficking

All patients and employees of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare are eligible for services through the HOPE program. Services are provided by credentialed advocates who are full-time staff.

Advocates will assist with the following:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Court accompaniment
  • Legal advocacy including protective order information
  • Mental health resources
  • Emergency funds
  • Safety planning
  • Liaison to Law Enforcement
  • Community-based referrals and resources
  • Forensic examination accompaniment
