A board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 25 years’ experience, Brenda Jo (BJ) Scott, MSN, C-FNP, practices at Chesapeake Regional Infectious Disease. She earned her Master of Science degree, with honors, as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and her Bachelor of Science degree, from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Having practiced as an Infectious Disease provider for 15 years, she is familiar with the full scope of Infectious Disease care. She has extensive experience providing services for Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine, in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. As an RN, she worked for 11 years on cardiovascular thoracic intensive care units.
