Chesapeake Regional Opens Wound Care Center in Elizabeth City

ELIZABETH CITY – Chesapeake Regional Healthcare (CRH) has opened an Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center in Elizabeth City at 1805 West City Drive.

The highly-qualified team of Chesapeake Regional practitioners and wound-certified nurses offer a multidisciplinary and personalized approach to treating wounds that won’t heal naturally. In partnership with referring providers and multiple medical disciplines, patients in northeast North Carolina receive a comprehensive plan for managing underlying medical conditions based on each patient’s needs.

The center offers on-site hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to help the healing process. With treatment, patients return to a life free from the chronic pain and discomfort of persistent wounds resulting from infections, diabetes, nutritional deficiencies, arterial disease, venous disease and obesity. CRH also operates a wound care center within Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, on the organization’s main campus. The Chesapeake center consistently averages above a 90 percent patient healing outcome.
