Having encountered a sudden and severe medical condition I could not have been any luckier to have drawn Dr. Farkas as my doctor. After many years of mistrust for allopathic medicine due to past experiences Dr Farkas has renewed my faith in the medical profession. The phrase Divine Providence comes to mind.

Dr Farkas seems like a very good doctor but I have been trying to get a message to her for over 2 weeks with no response from her office. I sent a message through the portal and 2 voicemail regarding my last appointment and upcoming procedure. No response from anyone. I have been in a lot of pain and discomfort and was referred to Dr Farkas, unfortunately it's extremely difficult to get in touch with her.

The nurse was very concerned and care if I wanted her to do the surgery then she would but it was my decision, and she explained it to me , very professional .

Chesapeake regional healthcare is staffed by a group of professionals that are obviously focused on providing prompt service and excellent medical care. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking medical attention.

I never got to see the doctor, despite waiting a very long time, because she apparently was running way behind. Plus, the professionalism was lacking. I doubt that I will make another appointment with that office based on that visit.

I forgot my readers but the office staff had a pair I could use while I was there. I was so appreciative. Also I was so happy the Doctor was able to use the Davinchie surgical procedure on me. It made recovery so much easier.

No one answers the phone so I could make an appointment. I called one day and let the phone ring for 45 min. I then hung up to confirm that I had dialed the correct number. Then, I called for an additional one hour and 15+minutes.I still don't have the appointment for the procedure.

I came under Dr. Farkas' care after she performed emergency surgery for a cecal volvulus. I remained hospitalized at Chesapeake Regional until my discharge. I was under her orders & care while hospitalized in addition to the care of her GI group & the hospitalist on duty & the nurses on 5 East.
