To start with, the front desk staff in this office are outstanding. When calling for an appointment, the young lady was patient, listened carefully when scheduling. When arriving in the office, the front desk explained carefully the paperwork I needed to complete and left no doubt in my mind on what to fill out!!I was extremely happy with Dr. Farpour. He was caring, compassionate, easy to talk with and was able to put my mind at ease. He explained the next step in my care and was extremely satisfied with his conservative thoughts on how this will be handled. He is referring me to a GI as well and scheduling me for another CT in September before any other decisions will be made on my care. I feel very fortunate that he is my surgeon.

Thankfully, I did not have an issue which required surgery. Nonetheless, Dr. Farpour went over my entire CT, with me. He carefully explained the CT scan, and offered advice with respect to other options I might consider. Dr. Alireza Farpour is a board-certified general surgeon. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his surgical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk.
Dr. Farpour began his tenure at Chesapeake Regional in 1995 when he joined the practice of Dr. Enrique Saenz. Dr. Farpour is the past chief of the Department of Surgery and past president of both the Chesapeake Regional Medical Staff and Chesapeake Medical Society.
