I felt at ease with Dr Anouti. He seemed to be confident in his assessment of my problem even though it differed from my other doctors as well as the hospital doctors. He adjusted and/or removed the medications that had been previous prescribed and prescribed a round of Prednisone. He referred me back to my other doctors for reassessment of my condition, told me to continue physical therapy, and had me make an appointment with him again afterwards. I felt more confident with his assessment and I hope this problem has more to do with my ears and not my brain.

I have recommended Dr. Anouti to friends and family. The whole experience has been a welcome relief going from suffering terrible migraines daily to a definite improvement in my quality of life. Dr. Anouti always listens and I don't feel dismissed. With my migraines being managed now, I don't have much to say during routine check ups but I still appreciate that he doesn't seem rushed during my appointments. The office staff is also friendly.

I had a nasty fall while on vacation out of state. I had my test results sent to the Doctor. He took the time t do some extra screenings one of which was my eyes. He discovered I had damaged the need in my right eye. The ER in Texas never checked it. Thank o him I got back with my eye surgeon to follow my nerve damage. He may have saved my vision!

The nurse (Clay?) has been HORRIBLE both visits. Very, very short verbiage. Extremely uncomfortable bedside. Aggressively rolling the blood pressure machine. Scratching and slapping the paper with his pen as if he doesn't have the time for me. His gestures and eye rolling insist I am a 'bother or interruption' to his day. His body language is the farthest thing from caring and empathetic as any person in his position I have ever seen. Mind you, I see 4-5 'specialists' regularly. For context, I've never once complained over the years. Aside from his toxic, nearly hostile behavior, being unprofessionally dressed with scrub pockets ripped out and grungy hair constantly falling in his face made it seem likely he truly just doesn't care in general. Nobody seeing a physician deserves the cold, abrasive mistreatment he provides. Ever.

A board-certified neurologist, Dr. Anouti earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed internships at Good Samaritan Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. and his residency in neurology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. His fellowship in movement disorders was completed at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Anouti performs botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasms and migraines. He also conducts EMG and nerve conduction studies as well as trigger point injections, nerve blocks and stimulation. A fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Anouti holds medical licenses in Ohio, Michigan and Virginia.
