Chesapeake Regional Medical Group Welcomes Internist Dr. Thomas Green

CHESAPEAKE – Thomas Green, M.D., has recently joined Currituck Internal Medicine & Family Practice, a part of Chesapeake Regional Medical Group (CRMG). The practice also includes Nitish Manning, M.D., and Susan Ziglar, M.D. and is located at 534 Caratoke Highway in Moyock, N.C.

Board certified in internal medicine and specializing in hospital medicine, Green began his career in the U.S. Air Force before attending Michigan State University and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in computer information and control engineering. He went back to Michigan State to earn his medical degree and completed his residency in internal medicine in 2001.

Prior to joining CRMG Green worked as a hospitalist at Northeast Medical Center in Concord, N.C. and Rutherford Hospital in Rutherfordton, N.C., where he presided as the Hospitalist Medical Director until 2011. Most recently he worked as a hospitalist for Sound Physicians in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, N.C.
