Bra-ha-ha Phone Bank to Offer Breast Health Screenings for Women With Little or No Insurance
Chesapeake Regional Healthcare (CRH) will hold a phone bank on Wednesday, October 12 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. to offer free breast health screenings to qualified uninsured or underinsured community members. Interested women should call the phone bank line at (757) 312-6536. Women who qualify will be given a screening appointment time.
One of the most important tools in the battle against breast cancer is easy access to mammograms and early detection. Chesapeake Regional Healthcare will offer the free breast screenings with funds raised from The Bra-ha-ha® Awards Show & Auction, hosted by the Chesapeake Regional Healthcare Foundation. The Bra-ha-ha has helped hundreds of women who otherwise would not get screened due to the cost.
Chesapeake Regional Healthcare has a comprehensive breast program which offers 2D and 3D mammogram technology, a 40-foot Mobile Mammography unit, a breast cancer patient navigator, a radiology patient navigator and many other advanced breast care services all in one convenient location. For more information or to make an appointment at The Breast Center at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, call (757) 312-2232.
