Dr. Klena is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with extensive experience in Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgical procedures. He graduated from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, in Philadelphia and completed his General Surgery Residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. His Cardiothoracic Fellowship was completed at the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Mo. Dr. Klena served as the Attending Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Assistant Professor of Surgery and Medical Director of the Acute ICU while at UPMC Northwest, in Seneca, Pa. In Hampton Roads since 2019, he is a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Navy Reserve.
