About Us
Chesapeake Regional Urgent Care is open earlier than other area urgent care centers, providing immediate, walk-in care for adults and children every day of the week when your regular provider is not available. We treat injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening while offering convenient, one-stop care with urgent care services located in the same building as our advanced Imaging Center. Patients benefit from immediate access to imaging such as X-ray, ultrasound, and CT when clinically needed, eliminating the need to travel elsewhere or delay care.
Our fully integrated electronic medical record ensures seamless communication, faster follow-up, and complete continuity of care, and our Emergency Department–trained providers deliver high-level expertise in treating both routine and complex urgent conditions. With faster diagnosis through on-site imaging and real-time chart sharing, improved safety through access to complete medical histories and prior results, streamlined referrals to specialists or primary care, and high-quality, hospital-backed care in a convenient neighborhood setting, Chesapeake Regional Urgent Care is here when you need it most.
Chesapeake Regional Urgent Care offers walk-in services for those with illnesses and injuries that need immediate care, such as:
- Cold or flu-like symptoms
- Sore throat or strep throat
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Fever
- Cough
- Sinus pain
- Earache or ear infections
- Back pain
- Sprains, strains or fractures
- Simple cuts or lacerations
- Skin rashes and infections
- Minor burns
- COVID-19 and other viruses
- Frequent or painful urination
- Allergies
- Minor eye infections, including pink eye
If your concern is immediate but not critical, urgent care is a smart choice. Urgent care centers typically offer shorter wait times and care at a lower cost than an emergency room visit. If you think you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
If your urgent care visit requires MRI, CT or X-ray, Chesapeake Regional Urgent Care is conveniently found in the same building as MRI & CT Diagnostics, making it easy to get imaging and care all at once.
