Topics will be varied and chosen to help everyone work through the challenges and help reduce stress. Chesapeake Regional Healthcare sponsors a breast cancer support group open to newly diagnosed women as well as survivors. At the Breast Friends meetings, women comfort, encourage, and honor their courageous journey to fight cancer. They share concerns and exchange information while health care professionals speak on topics of interest. The group is facilitated by a breast cancer survivor and an oncology nurse. This three-part program is taught by a team of health care professionals and is open to all adults with diabetes. Class is held Wednesdays from 6 - 8:00pm.
Course participants are taught adult, child and infant CPR, how to clear an obstructed airway and how to use an AED. This class is held once a month from 6 - 10pm.
Controlled movements that engage deep abdominals, lower back, and hip muscles. Improves posture, mobility, and will give you a feeling of overall well-being. Must be able to get down on a mat. Date and Time Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4pm
