Chesapeake Regional Listed Among Money’s Best Hospitals of 2024

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – There are more than 6,000 hospitals in the United States and Money has ranked Chesapeake Regional Medical Center as one of the best 115. The Best Hospitals of 2024 List published on Money.com shows that Chesapeake Regional is one of only three hospitals in Hampton Roads to earn this recognition and one of only six hospitals in Virginia to make the list.

“We work hard to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and are honored to be named a Best Hospital of 2024,” said Reese Jackson, JD, MHA, FACHE, President & CEO of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. “Our quality, expertise, patient satisfaction, and price transparency make us a smart choice for health care.”

Money.com looked at more than 13,500 data points to rank facilities by safety records, patient satisfaction, the experience of the hospitals’ doctors and other practitioners, and mortality rates. The extent to which the cost of care matches the hospital’s publicly listed prices was also considered.
