Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our pulmonary rehabilitation program is a nationally accredited program through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. It is designed to help those individuals with chronic lung diseases optimize their overall health and physical stamina. With completion of our program, participants are able to do their activities of daily living at a much easier pace and are able to have a better understanding of their disease process to prevent worsening of their conditions and hospitalizations.

Who Will Benefit from Pulmonary Rehab?

Pulmonary rehabilitation benefits those individuals with chronic lung diseases like:

  • Emphysema
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • Pulmonary fibrosis
  • COPD
  • Chronic asthma
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Bronchiectasis
  • Lung cancer
  • Lung transplants (pre/post)
  • Sarcoidosis

Joining the Program

A physician order and a pulmonary function test are required for entry into the program. After an initial appointment classes are held Monday, Wednsday and Friday. The length of program participation varies based on insurance coverage.
