Outpatient Services

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare’s W. Stanley Jennings Outpatient Center houses our diagnostic services, our outpatient surgery services and our Breast Center.  All these are conveniently located at the north end of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center’s campus.

Our diagnostic services are performed in our 19,000-square-foot facility.  We have consolidated many of the hospital's diagnostic services - including a second MRI, a comprehensive breast center that includes mammography with ImageChecker technology and stereotactic biopsy, CT, bone densitometry, ultrasound and other radiology and laboratory services-  complementing the hospital's existing full-service radiology department and laboratory, providing patients with a conveniently located, easily accessible option for diagnostic services. Radiologists are located on site, and other physicians, clinical specialists and services - including the emergency department - are just steps away if needed.

Our Outpatient Surgery facility is designed for patients who will have their procedures and then return home the same day. Procedures that can be performed include orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT (ear, nose and throat), plastic, podiatric and general surgery cases. Many of the outpatient procedures performed in the hospital can be accommodated at this facility, with more convenient scheduling and parking.

The Breast Center offers women the very latest in breast imaging, diagnostics and cancer treatment in a setting that is as comfortable as it is discreet. We are a Breast Center of Excellence and offer a full range of state-of-the-art services including 3D digital mammography.

Chesapeake Regional's rehabilitation services department offers a wide variety of specialty services and a comprehensive approach to the treatment of many orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. Our outpatient staff includes 11 physical therapists, three physical therapist assistants, an occupational therapist and a speech therapist.
