A Helping Hand

Hospice services are generally offered to individuals who are terminally ill upon approval by a physician. Our nursing staff is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergencies or other immediate assistance. All hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Champus and private insurance health plans.

After receiving approval for hospice you and your family will work with your attending physician and hospice staff to set up a care plan that fits your specific needs. A team of professionals including your physician, the hospice medical director, registered nurses, social workers, certified nursing assistants, trained volunteers and clergy are all available to care for you as needed. Our services include visits from staff that are specially trained to provide:

  • Pain-control advice
  • Prescription medicine doses
  • Symptom management care
  • Nutrition and hydration advice
  • Personal hygiene
  • Spiritual support
  • Family counseling
  • Bereavement support

Our goal at hospice is to make every day matter, and ensure that our patients and their families get the most they can out of their lives.
