The BirthPlace

Giving birth is not a one-day event

It's a journey that begins well before pregnancy and extends far past delivery. We are dedicated to helping women and their families make this a safe, smooth and memorable journey. We offer all the services, education, support and care you will need in surroundings that are warm, soothing and reassuring. You can count on our caring staff to answer your questions and make your new role as mother both comfortable and rewarding.

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare has one of the busiest labor and delivery units in the area, and that means we have the expertise you expect. We also know that every baby, every mother and every family is unique. That means you get the personalized compassionate, caring treatment you deserve. We would love to welcome your baby into the world.

In-House OB/GYN Hospitalists

Board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists are on duty during evening and early morning shifts, nights and weekends to handle emergency cases. This in-house OB/GYN hospitalist program ensures that there is always a qualified doctor at hand.
