CHESAPEAKE REGIONAL OPENS NEW FAMILY PRACTICE IN HARBOR VIEW
Chesapeake Regional Medical Group has opened a new family practice of primary care physicians in the Harbor View section of Suffolk. The practice - Riverfront Family Medicine and Specialty Care - is located in the Konikoff Building at 5849 Harbour View Blvd., Suite 250. "This new practice will provide the Suffolk community with much-needed high-quality primary and specialty care services in a location near to their homes," said Wynn Dixon, Chesapeake Regional's vice president of support services. "Chesapeake Regional has become known as the provider of choice for Hampton Roads and now, with this new practice, residents of Suffolk will have closer, more convenient access to our services." "This new facility is another example of how Suffolk continues to attract quality healthcare providers," added Suffolk Mayor Linda T. Johnson. "The medical sector is an important target industry for us. We value Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's expansion into Suffolk and we look forward to seeing them grow to meet the health care needs of our citizens." Practicing at the location are Drs. Scott Fowler, Dena Hall and Attiyah Ismaeli-Campbell. All are board certified family physicians. Other specialists will also rotate through the practice including neurologists, neurosurgeons, general surgeons, bariatric surgeons and diabetes management clinicians.
Ismaeli-Campbell received her medical degree from EVMS and completed a residency with Portsmouth Family Medicine. While a physician in training, she provided medical care for women and children with limited resource and coordinated medical treatment for women and children residing in a domestic violence shelter.
All three physicians are accepting new patients and all major insurance plans. Chesapeake Regional Medical Group is an affiliate of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. |
